N.A.T.U.R.E. Onlus, Seveso
'Ventiduesimo anno' (‘Twenty-second year’) is a project aimed at supporting the young women who are at the end of their time of protection as minors, offering them vocational and social guidance. N.A.T.U.R.E. Onlus offers these young women, who are 22 years of age, the opportunity to take part in a paid internship when they leave the Casa Aperta home.
The objective of this project is to supply these young women with a form of support that will help them live autonomously, assisting them in finding jobs that are aligned with the training they have received and with their personalities.
The Verga Committee’s research centre is one of the first in Europe to have developed a phase I/II clinical trial for the treatment of high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukaemia using specific T cells (CIK) genetically modified with a specific chimeric receptor.
