Healthcare
Fondazione Renato Piatti Onlus, Milano (2017)
Fondazione Renato Piatti Onlus supports the activities of two semi-residential therapeutic centers, one in Milan and one in Varese, specialized in autism-related issues. Children between the ages of 2 and 14 can access the service for free thanks to the public neuropsychiatric centers. Despite receiving public funds, these centers can only take up to 80 children in Milan and 35 in Varese.
The aim of the 'More Children' project, thanks to the support of private funds, is to increase these numbers by at least 20 (up to full capacity), thus reducing wait list times and helping change the lives of children suffering from autism.
