Employment
Mission Bambini Onlus, Carate Brianza (2014-2015)
This project is aimed at the professional training and integration of 12 young adults from 16 to 21 years old who are afflicted by situations of familial and/or social distress with a series of scholastic troubles or long periods of inactivity behind them.
The program promotes the participants’ acquisition of professional skills and abilities in order to facilitate their entry into the working world. During this process, the participants also have the opportunity to improve their social skills, sense of responsibility and autonomy, discovering more about themselves and their interests. Additionally, the relationship they curate with the adults in the program – educators from the cooperative and company mentors – leads to more openness and faith in the social community and in the workplace.
Healthcare
Through collaborative efforts with Canali Onlus, the center is able to maintain the use of a heated swimming pool, which is used for rehabilitation efforts by patients with spinal cord injuries.
